The City of Huntsville and Downtown Huntsville, Inc. (DHI) have hired Urban Design Associates (UDA) to update the Downtown Master Plan. The last time the plan was refreshed was in 2006. Since then, downtown has grown significantly with new residential and retail development. The update will focus on four potential growth areas within the Central Business District: Clinton and Holmes, Fountain Circle, the VBC area, and the Northwest Gateway.
